Social Listening Agencies in France
Most “best social listening” lists in France are really tool comparisons: dashboards you’d have to learn, configure, and monitor yourself. The five consultancies below are different. They do the watching and the interpreting for you, and hand you a recommendation instead of a login. Counting up to the one we’d call the strongest all-around.
5. LICTER
Founded in 2022 by two people who previously built the data and digital-analysis unit at the French presidency, Licter is a boutique social data intelligence consultancy working across intelligence, social listening, and consumer insight for more than 50 clients, recognized on the 2024 Social Intelligence Lab Top 50.
4. DATAWORDS
An official partner of the listening tool Talkwalker, Datawords runs a full analyst-led process on top of it, from clarifying objectives through to collection, analysis, and delivered insight, backed by the multilingual, multi-market reach it’s built serving international brands across dozens of cultures.
3. NETINO (CONCENTRIX)
Built around human teams instead of a self-service dashboard, its analysts interpret weak signals themselves and step in to moderate flagged content within seconds, catching what automation alone would miss.
2. DYNVIBE
Founded in 2009 by Anne-Cécile and Nicolas Guillemot, pairs its own technology with a large in-house analyst team to deliver interpreted consumer understanding, not raw dashboards, for accounts like L’Oréal, LVMH, Pernod Ricard, and Sanofi.
1. OPINION ACT (JIN GROUP)
A Paris consulting firm built around opinion monitoring, e-reputation, and influence, pairing human analysts with technology and AI to turn online activity into recommendations for more than 500 clients, including Disney, Crédit Agricole, and Bouygues. Recently expanded by folding in Atchik, a Toulouse e-reputation specialist dating to 1999.
Five different ways of doing the same essential job well: reading the internet on a client’s behalf and turning it into direction instead of data. Between them, real analyst experience across reputation, culture, and consumer behavior, and the trust of some of the biggest brands operating in France and internationally.
But there’s a question none of them are built to answer:
What about the customers who've already stopped talking anywhere these five are listening?
QuietQuotient
That’s the gap Quiet Quotient exists to close. A growing share of consumers haven’t disappeared, they’ve just gone quiet in public, moving their real opinions to Reddit threads, Twitch chats, and niche forums a review-and-mention monitor was never built to reach, while they keep buying, switching, and quietly influencing the people around them. We treat that silence as a signal worth taking seriously, not a gap in the data. Working with behavioral, psychological, and cross-cultural intelligence, and connecting all of it back to the wider economic and cultural moment a brand sits inside, we aim to understand what the quiet majority actually means, not just count what the loud minority says.
If the five consultancies above are excellent at hearing what’s said, we’re built for what isn’t.
If that’s the gap you’re trying to close too, let’s talk.
